About Me

My name is Ella Aimee Kitching and I am currently a PhD Student at Cardiff University, under the supervision of Dr Thomas Slater.

I earned a 1st class hons BEng Materials Science and Engineering degree, studying at Queen Mary University of London, in July 2022.

My research areas of interest are iDPC-STEM, tomography, atomic resolution imaging and catalyst analysis with microscopy and linked elemental analysis techniques.
